Drafted by Los Angeles with the tenth pick in the college entry draft, Jerome Bettis quickly established himself in professional football. He was voted co-Rookie of the year and is one of only eight rookies in league history to run for 200 yards in a single game. After three strong seasons with the Rams, Bettis was shipped to Pittsburgh, where his legend and stature grew.
